Fundraising
A large portion of our funding comes from ticket sales, which was limited this year, due to the ongoing pandemic. With all of our shows being livestreamed during the 2020-21 school year, our audience wasn't as large as we would've hoped. While we continue to be commited to protecting our community's health and adhering to safety guidelines, show and fundraiser cancellations limited our ability to reach the level of revenue that we need to continue the growing at the same rate we have been for the past few years.
Our program gives over 50 Centaurus High School students a supportive environment to be creative through hands-on experience in acting and technical theatre. We foster the growth of skills, such as leadership, through our student-run departments and leadership board. A love of theatre is interal to our program and we want to ensure that everyone who wants to learn about theatrical arts has a safe and uplifting space to do so. However, that space can't exist without your help!
There are several ways to support our company! Online donations are able to be made through the Centaurus High School RevTrak. Checks can be made out to Centaurus Theatre Company and mailed to or dropped off at Centaurus High School. Additionally, we always appreciate donations of woodworking tools, lumber, and, sewing equipment and materials. Thank you so much for your continued support and we are excited to keep performing great theatre in the next years!
